£27500 to £30230 (Depending on experience)

If you’ve watched our video, you can probably tell we could use a bit of help with our marketing; that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic Marketing Representative to help us bring Pia’s marketing to life, make an even bigger impact and show the difference accessible formats can make to people’s everyday lives.

    So, who are Pia?

Pia is the UK’s leading independent accessible format provider. We specialise in producing accessible print formats including braille, large print, audio transcript, easy read and tactile labels, as well as providing project management and everything else an organisation needs to meet the needs of print-impaired individuals.

We pride ourselves on our experience, customer-focused service and turnaround. But ultimately, we know our success comes down to our people.

We’ve been through a period of significant growth and we’re continuing to develop our team to support where Pia is going next.

And that includes finding someone who can help us get much better at telling people about it.

    The Role

As our Marketing Representative, you’ll play a key part in bringing Pia’s marketing to life.

You’ll create engaging, accessible and inclusive content across social media, blogs, newsletters, email campaigns and case studies, while helping to keep our day-to-day marketing activity organised and on track.

You’ll support campaigns across digital and traditional channels, helping us raise awareness of Pia and the services we provide. You’ll be hands-on with our social media and website content, support paid advertising activity and help coordinate events, exhibitions, webinars and other promotional activities.

You’ll also keep an eye on how our marketing is performing, using data from our website, emails, social media and campaigns to understand what’s working, what isn’t and where we could try something different. You’ll help keep our content schedules, campaign trackers and CRM records up to date, as well as getting involved in market research and keeping an eye on what’s happening across our industry.

You’ll work closely with the Sales & Marketing Team Leader, the wider Pia team and external suppliers, so collaboration will be a big part of the role. At the same time, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to bring your own ideas, creativity and initiative.

Above all, you’ll help make sure everything we put out reflects Pia’s values of quality, integrity and care, and that our communications are accessible, inclusive and something we’re proud to share.

    What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone creative and organised who enjoys turning ideas into engaging content and knows how to adapt their communication for different audiences.

You’ll have experience creating content across different channels, from social media and blogs to newsletters and email campaigns, along with a good understanding of digital marketing and how different channels can work together as part of a campaign.

You’ll have a great eye for detail, be able to juggle different priorities and be comfortable taking ownership of your work. You’ll be confident using tools such as Canva or similar design software, using social media in a professional environment and updating content through website content management systems.

You’ll also be comfortable using data to understand what’s working and where things could be improved. Experience using things like email marketing platforms, CRM systems, social media scheduling and analytics tools or supporting paid advertising would be a bonus, but we don’t expect you to have done everything on the list.

Most importantly, you’ll understand that good marketing should be accessible and inclusive, or you’ll be genuinely interested in developing your knowledge in this area.

We want someone who’ll collaborate with the team, use their initiative, take pride in producing high-quality work and bring ideas to the table. A sense of humour won’t hurt either.

What Might Excite You About Working Here?

Making an impact: You want your marketing to mean something. The work we do helps make information accessible to more people, and you’ll play a part in making sure more organisations know that support exists.

Getting creative: You enjoy taking an idea and figuring out how to make people stop, look and engage with it, whether that’s through a social post, campaign, email, event or something we haven’t thought of yet.

Having your ideas heard: You don’t just want to be handed a list of things to post. You like having the freedom to suggest new approaches, test ideas and help shape how an organisation talks about itself.

Seeing what works: You’re curious about the results behind the creative. You enjoy looking at how content and campaigns perform and using what you learn to make the next one even better.

Values-led work: Accessibility and inclusion aren’t an afterthought at Pia. They’re fundamental to what we do, and you’ll help make sure that comes through in how we communicate too.

What Do You Get in Return?

We think work should give something back too.

    You’ll get:

    • £27,500 to £30,230 per annum, depending on experience
    • 39 days’ annual leave per year, including bank holidays
    • Flexible working
    • The opportunity to bring your own ideas and make your mark within a growing organisation
    • Work that has a genuine purpose behind it
    • And yes, tea, coffee and biscuits to keep you going
